So many memories

Dearest Angela

Where do I start, the best job in the world was working for you and your lovely family. I have such happy, funny memories of it. The first being the day Peg got her dog lead caught round my leg, the next time I saw you you said you thought I might have sued you. Haha as if. The endless tails of Ginnie getting in to strife, with her arms stuck down the back of the cupboard, Hannah having to have stitches in the kitchen because she split her eye open. Sarah and Elizabeth coming home from school and asking me all about my boyfriends, listening to the radio with them while they did their homework....they were so good.

You always loved to tell me what the girls were up to when they had left home and about their relationships. All the beautiful photos of your much loved grandchildren when they came along. It was so obvious to anyone how proud you are of them all. The funniest times though are those memories concerning Stew and the bike. I honestly can't remember how many times you got a call to go and scrape him up off pavement but the funniest of all was when the branch went down the back pack and pulled him off🤣🤣🤣. To this day I still have that vision in my head and it still makes me laugh. The other funny one is Super Rat. Pipin just ignored it, I kept having visions of it waving at me every time I opened a draw or cupboard. But the best was when you blamed Stew for eating all the meat out of the Gala pie and leaving the pastry, it wasn't him it was Super Rat.

Oh Angela I could go on forever, such happy memories, your beautiful garden, the geraniums and the Lemon tree. Your beautiful lillies in your hall. Truffles in the lawn (I never did find one) So many things remind me of you, thank you for being part of my life and a very dear friend for so long. I wish you a peaceful sleep until we all meet again. Much love to you Angela. Xxx
